Mark Chapters 7 & 8 — It’s About the Heart and Following Jesus
Mark Chapters 7 & 8 — It’s About the Heart and Following Jesus Join me as we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark using the World English Bible. In Mark Chapters 7 and 8, Jesus reminds us that what is happening inside our hearts matters. We see His compassion as He heals and ministers to those in need, and once again He feeds thousands of people with only a small amount of food. We also come to a very important moment when Peter declares that Jesus is the Christ. Jesus then begins teaching His disciples about what lies ahead and what it truly means to follow Him—to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. These are powerful words that still speak directly to us today. Following Jesus is more than simply knowing about Him. It’s about surrendering our lives and choosing to walk with Him each day. As we read together, I pray these chapters encourage all of us to examine our hearts, strengthen our faith, and continue growing closer to Jesus Christ. #RelevanceF...
