Mark Chapters 9 & 10 — Faith, Humility, and a Heart to Serve

Join me as we continue our New Testament journey through the Gospel of Mark using the World English Bible. In Mark Chapters 9 and 10, we witness the amazing Transfiguration of Jesus and continue learning what it really means to be one of His followers. Jesus teaches His disciples about faith, humility, serving others, marriage, children, possessions, and eternal life. We’re also reminded that greatness in God’s Kingdom looks very different from greatness in the world. Jesus tells His disciples that He did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. What an example for every one of us! As followers of Christ, we’re called to live with humility, love others, serve where God has placed us, and keep our priorities focused on Him. As we read these chapters together, I pray God’s Word encourages you and challenges all of us to become more like Jesus in the way we live, love, and serve others.
