Use Those Gifts ~ Part 1

It’s time to be the vessels that God called us to be and to use the Gifts that He’s given us to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ and impact the lives of those you interact with. We all have been given gifts by God and we must realize how important it is for us to step up to the plate and use them with confidence for the Lord. I want you to remember something very important, the Gift you have been given has great value to others, for example, in a church service it doesn’t matter if you are behind the pulpit or greeting people at the door. One is just as important as the other. I mean no disrespect to Pastors but if the door Greeters/ Ushers are rude to the people coming to the Church Service they may turn around and walk right back out. But if they are treated with Love and kindness as they are greeted at the front door, there mood will be entirely different. So please keep that in mind all Gifts are very valuable to the Kingdom of God!

        So let’s get into the Word, Paul wrote in the book of Romans 12:4-8 New Living Translation

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

⁴ Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, ⁵ so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. ⁶ In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. ⁷ If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. ⁸ If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly^.  

Be confident with what He has given you in knowing that if you do step up and step out in your gifting’s God will bless you and help you through the Holy Spirit whether you are writing, speaking to groups, preaching, teaching, prophesying, encouraging others, giving, helping and so forth. The people of this world need what you have to offer and I want you to remember that. I pray you will be encouraged, inspired and motivated by this 2 part message to step up to the plate and use your gifts in a powerful way for the Lord and His Kingdom here on earth.
